Sales Reports
The reports page provides detailed sales analytics with visualizations and data tables. Six report types are available, each offering a different lens on your sales data.
Report Types
Daily Sales
A line chart showing revenue per day over the selected period. The data table below lists each day's totals: revenue, order count, average order value, and items sold.
Staff Performance
Bar chart comparing staff members by revenue. Drill down into individual staff for daily trends. See Staff Reports for more detail.
Top Products
Ranked list of your best-selling products by revenue or quantity. Includes:
- Product name and variant
- Units sold
- Revenue generated
- Percentage of total sales
Payment Methods
Pie chart showing the breakdown of payment methods used:
- Cash, UPI/QR, Card, Terminal
- Percentage and absolute amount for each method
- Useful for understanding customer payment preferences
Discount Usage
Analysis of discount activity:
- Total discount amount given
- Breakdown by type: promo codes, custom discounts, auto discounts
- Most-used promo codes
- Discount as a percentage of total revenue
Hourly Sales
Bar chart showing revenue by hour of the day. Helps identify peak hours for staffing and promotions. Can be filtered by day of the week.
Using Reports
- Go to Reports in the sidebar
- Select a report type
- Set the date range using the period selector
- View the chart visualization and data table
- Export as CSV or PDF if needed
Charts and Visualizations
Reports include interactive charts:
- Line charts for trends over time
- Bar charts for comparisons (staff, products, hours)
- Pie charts for composition breakdowns (payment methods)
Hover over data points for exact values.
Reports data is calculated from Shopify orders in real time. There may be a brief delay between placing an order and seeing it reflected in reports.
