Managing Your Subscription
This page covers how to view, change, and cancel your Swift POS subscription.
Viewing Your Current Plan
Go to Shopify Admin > Swift POS > Billing to see:
- Your current plan name and monthly price
- Staff usage (e.g., "3 of 10 staff accounts used")
- Billing date (when the next charge occurs)
- Trial status (if applicable)
Changing Plans
You can upgrade or downgrade at any time:
- From the Billing page, click Change Plan
- Select the new plan
- Review the features and pricing
- Confirm the change
Changes take effect immediately. See Upgrading for details on what happens when you change plans.
Canceling Your Subscription
To cancel Swift POS and return to the Free plan:
- Go to Shopify Admin > Swift POS > Billing
- Click Cancel Subscription
- Confirm the cancellation
After Cancellation
- The plan immediately downgrades to Free
- All gated features are locked
- Staff accounts beyond the Free limit (1) are deactivated
- Your data is preserved -- nothing is deleted
- You can re-subscribe at any time
Canceling the subscription does not uninstall the app. You can continue using the Free plan features. To fully remove Swift POS, uninstall the app from Shopify admin.
Re-Subscribing
If you previously canceled and want to reactivate a paid plan:
- Go to Shopify Admin > Swift POS > Billing
- Select a plan
- Confirm the subscription
Your data from the previous subscription is still intact. Staff accounts that were deactivated can be reactivated. No new free trial is granted for plans you have previously subscribed to.
Billing FAQ
When am I charged? Shopify bills monthly from the date you first approved the charge.
Can I get a refund? Refund policies are governed by Shopify's billing terms. Contact Shopify support for refund requests.
Do charges appear on my Shopify invoice? Yes, Swift POS charges appear alongside other Shopify app charges on your regular invoice.
What happens if payment fails? Shopify retries failed payments. If payment cannot be collected, the subscription may be suspended per Shopify's policies.
