Customer Profiles
Full customer profiles are available on Standard and Pro plans. Basic customer info (name, email) is available on all plans.
Customer profiles give you a comprehensive view of each customer's information, purchase history, and preferences.
Profile Tabs
Overview Tab
The overview shows core customer information:
- Name -- first and last name
- Email -- email address
- Phone -- phone number
- Tags -- customer tags for segmentation and grouping
- Receipt preference -- the customer's preferred receipt delivery method
- Loyalty points -- current points balance (Pro plan)
Orders Tab
A paginated list of all orders placed by this customer, including:
- Order number and date
- Items purchased
- Order total
- Payment method
- Order status
Click any order to view its full details or reprint the receipt.
Addresses Tab
The customer's saved addresses. These can be used as shipping addresses at checkout.
Editing Customer Info
From the profile, you can:
- Edit name, email, and phone -- updates are synced to Shopify
- Add or remove tags -- used for customer groups and filtering
- Set receipt preference -- choose Print or Ask every time
Customer Tags
Tags are labels you attach to customers for organization and segmentation. Common uses:
- VIP -- for high-value customers
- Wholesale -- for B2B customers
- Staff discount -- for employees
Tags can be added manually from the profile or assigned automatically through customer groups.
Tags power the customer groups feature. When you create a group with a specific tag, all customers with that tag are automatically included.
Accessing Profiles
You can open a customer profile from:
- The customer search modal (click a customer name)
- The order detail view (click the customer name)
- The customer list in the sidebar
